Loan Incentive Program for Agricultural Producers with Coverage for Adverse Weather Events

The Central Bank relaxed the requirements for granting loans to agricultural producers having coverage for adverse weather events that may take place at least once every 20 years. Thus, agricultural producers are subject to less capital and loan loss provision requirements.

This incentive will allow for more favorable loan access and less risky customers.

In this way, the financial system will be strengthened in the face of adverse weather events such as droughts or floods.
