The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Argentina established that the total financial cost (CFT in Spanish) must be highlighted using a font size five times larger than the font size used for loan documents, in order to provide greater transparency to transactions and protect users in the decision-making process.
Thus, clients may easily identify the total financial cost of the loan at the time of signing the agreement.
This obligation has been in force since 2016 for graphic and audiovisual advertising of loans and financial services.
