Tecnópolis opens tomorrow, and the BCRA returns with a ludic proposal that focuses on financial inclusion and education, and the celebration of 40 years of democracy in Argentina.
This year, the motto is More Financial Education, More Rights, More Democracy and it seeks to provide accessible information on the tools offered by the financial system, and raise awareness about financial users’ rights and the benefits of banking.
The proposal is intended for people of all ages to become protagonists and to learn from experience in different scenarios:
· Make payments by transfer: visitors can make payments by scanning a QR code. Thus, they will discover how easy it is to pay by transfer for everyday purchases in neighborhood shops or for other purchases of professional services.
· Play the BCRA’s trivia game: in a space for collective participation, visitors will be able to learn more about the activities, functions and mandates of the BCRA, payments by transfer, universal free accounts, traditional time deposits and early-payment UVA time deposits, in addition to reinforcing concepts on savings tools, security, and financial users’ rights.
This year, the motto of Tecnópolis is Collective Power and it can be visited from Wednesday to Sunday, from 12 pm to 7 pm during winter vacation. From August 3 to August 27, it will be open on Thursdays and Fridays, from 10 am to 6 pm; and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from 12 pm to 7 pm. Admission is free, and booking is not required.
