2023 Central Bank National Painting Award | Selected Works

The jury, composed of Ernesto Ballesteros, Daniel Fischer, Bárbara Golubicki, Delfina Helguera and Julio Sánchez, selected 36 works as semifinalists from the 3,660 works submitted by 1,220 artists from all over Argentina.

The selected works move to the final stage of the XVI Central Bank National Painting Award. The BCRA will be in charge of carrying these works from each artist's home to the exhibition room. This initiative consolidates the federal significance of the award since 300 participating artists are from locations other than the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires.

Rodrigo Alonso, curator; the jury; and BCRA’s authorities will award the prizes for each category on the opening day of the exhibition to take place at the Museum of the BCRA located at San Martín 216, City of Buenos Aires.
