2022 Bank National Painting Award | Selected Works
The jury selected 36 works as semifinalists of the XV Central Bank National Painting Award from the 2,970 works submitted by 990 artists from all over Argentina. The jury is composed of Joaquín Barrera, Dolores Casares, Hugo Petruschansky, Mercedes Reitano and Patricia Viel.
The BCRA will be in charge of transferring the selected works from each artist's home to the location where they will be exhibited. This initiative consolidates the federal significance of the contest since almost half of the participating artists are from locations other than the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires.
Rodrigo Alonso will be the curator of this edition. The exhibition will travel across some provinces in Argentina.
