Characteristic features:
The design at the center depicts a typical portrait of a couple of tango dancers moving to the 2x4 sensual rhythm on a cobbled street; the woman is in a slit skirt, and the man is wearing a funyi hat.
The background of the coin is represented as a hyperbolic image of a bandoneón which is distinctively large in size. As the emblematic musical instrument of the Porteños popular culture, it is aimed to pay homage to the most outstanding bandoneón players. The upper arch reads "TANGO"; on the right there appears the face value of "5 PESOS", and “F15” standing for the program Fabulous 15, on the left.
An Argentine ribbon with reminiscence of the fileteado porteño art style completes the picture on the left.
The center of the coin features the Argentine Coat of Arms. The legend "REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA” (ARGENTINE REPUBLIC) is arranged to form the upper arch, and the year "2013"—year of coinage—shapes the lower arch.
