To deal with international affairs, cultivating relations with other central banks as well as regional and international groups, and international financial lending institutions.
Norberto Pagani holds a BA degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in International Cooperation from Universidad del Salvador (USAL).
He joined the BCRA after completing a competitive selection process in 1989 and since then he has worked in the international area. He worked as Assistant and Advisor to the Board of the African Development Bank Group in Abidjan, Ivory Coast (1993-2000).
He has been head of the BCRA International area since 2002; this period was interrupted in 2016, when he worked as National Head for the Coordination of International Forums and Financial Organizations at the Ministry of the National Treasury and Public Finance of Argentina.
