The BCRA Sets Up a Stand at the Tecnópolis Fair to Promote Financial Inclusion and Education

CONVENIO Formosa

The BCRA is taking part in the tenth edition of the Tecnópolis' fair with a stand intended for making people become acquainted with financial inclusion, thus improving everyone's quality of life and boosting Argentina’s economy.

The motto “Including, Teaching, and Promoting is Central” seeks to test visitors' knowledge of the advantages of operating in the financial system, and to make them learn all about banking.

The proposal is intended for people of all ages to become protagonists and to learn from experience in different scenarios:

• Payment by transfer: simulation run on mobile devices and an app specially designed to experience this type of payment.

• Immersive 3D experience: banknotes give way to everyday electronic transactions, such as debits, ECHEQs, transfers, single banking codes (CBUs), and single virtual codes (CVUs).

• BCRA’s trivia: a 100% interactive and ludic space to answer questions on the channels and circuits through which money turns into electronic means of payment.

• Micro theatre: an interactive video (short film) is screened to strengthen learning on saving tools and the use of electronic means, focusing on financial users’ security and rights. Moreover, the proposal includes a microsite at the BCRA’s website that will replicate these scenarios and expand contents.

The BCRA’s stand is part of the thematic pole called “Nurture the human side”, which is also placed at the Tecnópolis' fair. This space has been developed on the basis of solidarity, sensitivity, and knowledge and is meant to contribute towards a fairer and more equitable future.

Tecnópolis park will be open from October 2 to December 12, on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, from 12 a.m. to 8 p.m. Prior registration through the website is required.
