Mauro Alessandro Participated in the Seminar “Promoting the Productivity of Companies in Argentina”

June 11, 2019. The Economic Research Deputy General Manager of the BCRA, Mauro Alessandro, participated in the seminar “Promoting the Productivity of Companies in Argentina: Deciding Factors and Policies to Grow in the Long Term” organized by the World Bank and the Ministry of Production of Argentina.

Alessandro spoke in the block on “Financial Frictions: Efficient Allocation of Resources and Unemployment: a Quantitative Analysis for Argentina”, together with Roberto N. Fattal Jaef, economist of the Macroeconomics and Growth team of the World Bank’s Research Department.

In his lecture, the Economic Research Deputy General Manager of the BCRA highlighted the importance of lowering inflation to expand the financial system, and in this way, contribute to the sustainable development of the Argentine economy.
