Diego Jorge López Airaghi holds an undergraduate degree in Business Economics and a master's degree in Finance from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT).
He joined the BCRA in 2001 as an Analyst in the Operations area, where he built his career holding various leadership positions: Head of Foreign Exchange Operations; Foreign Exchange Operations Deputy Manager; and Foreign Operations Manager, until he was appointed Market Operations Senior Manager in April 2020.
He has taken part in many international seminars on administration of central bank reserves.
